I was drawn to your concept because I also wonder how we can feel and communicate real empathy. It's only once I experienced a specific hardship that I understood what some people around me went through. Why did it take this? If I'm honest, even if I have kids, I know I couldn't really feel Kaki's emotions because they've never been this sick. Yet, it's worth trying new ways because empathy is so important (and in short supply sometimes).
